Many of our customers have been asking for completely unfiltered raw olive oil. We have made therefore this product available to you. This olive oil is of the same high quality as our standard olive oil in terms of origin, purity, balance of flavor and acidity but it is thicker, cloudier and richer in flavor than our standard olive oil because it is completely unfiltered. This olive oil contains all the nutrients found in the olive fruit. It is basically the same olive oil that you find in Greek homes in Northern Peloponnesus and it is a product that you can get easily addicted to.
This olive oil is stone-ground and cold-pressed. It is produced by old mills through the traditional process that has been utilized in Greece for centuries. The oil is unheated and unfiltered and therefore it is absolutely raw. In the United States, this type of olive oil is often referred to as "raw olive oil" or as "living olive oil". This olive oil, although not certified organic, it does not contain pesticides. It is very smooth and has rich and balanced flavor.
